The world's first ever Sami Dance Center opens in november 2024 outside Jokkmokk in Vuollerim in an award winning beautiful design building. The company aims to create better work conditions for dancers and for a rich culture in the North offering artistic residencies for artist around the world.

Aira Dance Company is a touring dance company with dance productions, screen dance and performing arts. Based in Jokkmokk, Sweden. We mostly work with artists that origin from Sápmi to create art about Sápmi, for everyone

Kolonisterna is an interactive dance performance that directs a critical eye at our mutual history, which many prefer to forget, and at the colonial structures that prevail today. Embedded in a satirical atmosphere, the audience witnesses and participates in a study of power and the abuse of power.

Bobbi Lo Produktion creates innovative art for youth that speaks to all senses. Led by artistic directors Lava Markusson and Michael Tang, Bobbi Lo Produktion has its base in Malmö and has produced artistic works for stage, digital festivals and commissions with premieres in Sweden and abroad since 2018.

In our cities, on bronze horses, proud kings quietly stare above our heads. Their history and visual male dominance daily manifested and passed on to the next generation. Where are the women and their stories? In City Horses, female dancers make the streets their stage, like a herd of wild horses.

Vērpete is an invitation into the sensation of dissolution of time and space that can be experienced while turning. The Swedish-Latvian duo Erik Eriksson and Krišjānis Sants weave together space, music and audience in an intimate, swirling dance of counterbalance and trust.

Erik Eriksson & Krišjānis Sants work invites the audience to immersive dances that unfolds with, in and through spaces in continuous flux. Weaving together movement, space, scenography, light and sound, they strive to share a tactile sensation of a dancing relationship with ones surroundings.

In The Gap Penkova draws a parallel between her move from East to West and the transition from classical to contemporary dance. She reveals her attempt in closing the aesthetical gap by weaving music,voices from dance icons,her own reflections, skillful dancing and elements of melodrama and humour.

Liza Penkova is a Swedish dance-artist of Russian origins. Her interest lie in the translation processes across and within performing arts traditions and its aesthetics.

The dance work and the project Groove based from the traditions of the dance styles gqom and house and explores its groove, form and spirit. Groove is about being yourself and allowing yourself to connect / immerse / devote yourself with the music, the collective, yourself and the groove in a deep way.

Mari Raudsepp works as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She graduated from the School of Dance and Circus in Stockholm 2016. She has been active in the street dance culture/field and battle/club scene since 2008.

Merry.Go.Round is the latest and final piece in Maria Nilsson Waller’s Terra Nullius triptych (2012-2022) based on earths last unclaimed territories. It looks into space and the unknown future of mankind, highlighting our shifting relationship to nature and environment, the future and the unknown.

Maria Nilsson Waller is a choreographer, dancer and designer. She has been working with dance in more than 20 years and created 14 independent productions. She was elected "Hoffnungsträgerin" 2015 by Tanzmagazine.

[e s c] is a performance and digital art piece consisting of five parts. It explores escapism as an idea and a state of mind. Dystopian and utopian concepts are explored in relation to our need for escape from reality as well as how fantasy and how algorithms get entangled with patterns of escapist behavior.

Ongoing Realities creates multi-sensory experiences that explore dance and choreography in the context of digital technology and innovation, drawing inspiration from exhibition formats.

Get Real is the first dance piece to use Virtual Reality as a platform to present a work that takes place both in VR and in reality simultaneously. As such, it is extremely interactive and unlike any experience or artwork previously created for Virtual Reality.

Robin Jonsson is a choreographer from the video game generation. As such, he explores the role and significance of digital technology in interpersonal relationships.

Dancing On My Own is a video installation and a one-to-one ritual of individuals dancing to their favorite song in front of the camera. With the original music replaced by the participants' own voices, each session gives form to a physical and audible portrait that delves into the triggers of sensory creativity and motivations of dance.

Sara Lindström Lindhe is a choreographer and artist based in Stockholm. She is active in an expanded field of choreography through works that manifest as live performances, film, audio and installations.

Skumitate is based on the Japanese "mitate" technique, mixing puppetry techniques with the dancer's body. It blurs the boundaries between puppet and human, tap and modern dance. The piece explores the dialogue between dance, dancers, and materials.

Takuya Fujisawa is a Dancer/ Choreographer/ Scenografer, based in Göteborg, Sweden. Hosted the research platform CRAFT, has been conducting research to visualize the relationship by performing with various materials.

Festen by Viktor Fröjd is a tribute to the human and the spiritual. To dance and to use the body to experience all the inherent possibilities in the human being, together as well as alone. Everyone who participates in Festen is also part of creating it.

Viktor Fröjd explores how dance can contain a deeper understanding of what it is to be human through commissions and self produced works, rooted in streetdance, freestyle and the house club scene.
