We are excited to launch the open call for the 2026 Visiting Artist Programme — an opportunity for dance artists to attend a European dance festival and take part in a curated programme designed to inspire, connect, and engage.

What’s Included:

• Travel and accommodation fully covered

• Daily stipend of 70 €

• Per diem based on the destination country

• Visits last 3 to 5 days

Programme highlights:

• Attendance at performances and panel talks

• Venue visits and behind-the-scenes access

• Meetings with artistic directors

• Possible workshops

• Time for networking and artistic exchange

This programme offers a unique chance to explore the European dance scene, build international connections, and gain new perspectives through curated cultural experiences.

The festivals DC is sending to during 2026:

• Side Step Festival in Helsinki, Finland, February 3-7 main theme MULTIDISCIPLINARITY

• Festival Sismògraf in Olot, Spain, April 23-26 main theme OUTDOORS

• Dance Fest Skopje in Skopje, North Macadonia, April 26-30 main theme TEHCNOLOGY

Please apply by filling out this form, deadline December 14.

You may only apply to one festival.

Note! The listed festival dates do not include travel time. You may need to be available one day before and one day after the official dates.

For Side Step Festival answer will come December 19.

For the other two festivals answer will come February 11.
